From there, we can organise the relevant trades, sequence the work and keep decisions visible as the project progresses.

Depending on the brief, the programme may include plumbing, electrical work, plastering and decorating, windows, doors, carpentry and general building repairs. We agree the scope before work begins and identify items that require further investigation, specialist design or client selection.

Refurbishment that respects the existing building

Period homes rarely benefit from a one-size-fits-all approach. Existing materials need to be understood before they are covered, cut away or replaced, and new work must be compatible with the surrounding construction. Where a property is listed or in a conservation area, consent may be needed before work begins. ER Group London will work to the approved documents and coordinate with the client’s architect, surveyor or conservation adviser where one is appointed.
